Interplay of surface plasmon resonances probed by second harmonic generation
Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands
Nonlinear-optical response of a 1D Au/YIG magneto-plasmonic crystal demonstrated rich variety of features asscoiated with surface plasma resonances (SPR) at various interfaces in the structure. An interplay between different branches of the SPRs was shown to play an important role despite the large spatial separation of the interfaces. The obtained nonlinear-optical response is compared with the linear reflectivity of the sample and the results of numerical calculations.
